Conor McGregor has continued his diatribe against Mike Perry following his crossover boxing defeat last night.
The ‘King of Violence’ is one of BKFC’s biggest stars, but his all-action style led to him being dropped three times and knocked out by Jake Paul in front of a packed crowd at the Amalie Arena. This irked McGregor, who is now a part owner in the promotion where he has made his name since leaving UFC.
The Irishman is claiming that Perry is now ‘fired’ from BKFC, although it remains to be seen whether or not that is true. And he is still taking aim at the former welterweight contender making a number of claims about his purse as well as his next moves.

Mike Perry hits back at Conor McGregor after initial tweet storm
After watching Mike Perry be dropped three times on route to a KO defeat last night, Conor McGregor took to social media to declare that he was being ‘fired’ and ‘released’ by BKFC. This is despite the American being one of the promotion’s biggest and most recognisable stars.
“Hey Mike you’re released,” he wrote to his millions of followers on X, formerly Twitter, in the early hours of the morning. “And you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired.”
Asked about McGregor’s claims, Perry replied after the fact that McGregor should try his luck against Paul, and added: “Whatever. He doesn’t f***ing have a promotion because me and him are both owners of the BKFC, so you can’t fire me.”
Conor McGregor returns fire and claims Mike Perry took pay cut for Jake Paul fight
After that initial tweet storm, which also included remarks insulting Paul, McGregor wasn’t quite done taking aim at Perry. He quickly posted and deleted a series of messages claiming that the ‘King of Violence’ had taken a pay cut in order to have a boxing match, which was a goal of his.
Perry reportedly pocketed $600,000 as a disclosed purse for his fight with Thiago Alves at the promotion’s KnuckleMania pay-per-view in April. And while he would have received a large sum for fighting Paul, it likely won’t have quite reached that number before pay-per-view sales come in.

“Perry took a pay cut to take that fight btw,” McGregor wrote and quickly deleted. “It was a wish of his. Astounding. He will not be offered a return to the BKFC ring. He can do a few matches of his new dirty boxing thing with the MMA sparring gloves he has set up. We wish him well. Wish granted.”
When UFC lightweight Terrence McKinney criticised McGregor and BKFC for not paying Perry well, the Irishman mocked him before explaining: “This was not a big payday whatsoever. BKFC pay way more.
“This was the personal decision of a dumba**. He had written into his contract he could have one fight outside of organization. This was what he wanted.”
Conor McGregor disputes Mike Perry’s claim to be a ‘part owner’ of BKFC
And when McGregor received word of Perry’s comments at the post-fight press conference, he went even further nuclear. The Irishman holds a large stake in BKFC, and claims that it’s in fact their owners Triller with whom Perry has a deal, that he also says is an insignificant stake.
“Michael you are not any owner in BKFC,” he wrote before quickly deleting. “Not an iota. You have the tiniest minute dot of a share in thriller [Triller]. The social media video app. Which is promising in fairness. But it’s a speckle you have. You hold nothing in bare knuckle. Not an iota.
“And trust me, you are out bro. With no feelings. Do your thing in your dirty pants championships and who knows down the line. But you won’t be straight back in my ring that is out straight. I wish you well in the 6oz MMA sparring gloves and what that thing was. God bless.”
